David Casalod

David Casalod is CEO of Status Plus with more than 20 years of experience as an Executive Director and strategic partner to international medical societies. His connection to Status Plus spans more than three decades, beginning with the company’s early operational and digital development before he joined the management team and became CEO in 2008.

His expertise includes association strategy, governance, organizational development, financial sustainability, international growth, and innovation. Under his leadership, Status Plus has evolved from an event-focused organization into an international, full-service Association Management Company specializing in healthcare, with a presence in Europe and the United States.

David particularly values building trusted relationships with society leaders, supporting organizations through growth and change, and empowering volunteer leaders. Today, he is focused on the continued international development of Status Plus while preserving the quality, culture, and trusted partnerships that define the company.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing acoustic guitar, running, and keeping fit.
