Scientific Program & Abstract Management
Why Status Plus
A society’s scientific program is at the core of its mission, inviting faculty from across disciplines to share their expertise and foster discussions within the field. The strongest programs create opportunities for meaningful scientific exchange while supporting the society’s educational goals.
The scientific program belongs to the society and its committees. Status Plus supports that expertise rather than taking over scientific decision-making, providing the coordination needed to turn the committee’s vision into a successful program.

Our Approach
Status Plus supports scientific program development by ensuring a collaborative and committee-led process. Program chairs and committees play an integral role in developing a scientific program and determining the educational direction, from selecting topics and evaluating abstracts to shaping the final program.
As the program takes shape, your meeting manager connects those decisions with the wider event. Abstract and registration systems need to reflect the program, faculty need to be prepared, and the program itself needs to work in an in-person, hybrid, or virtual setting. Keeping those pieces connected helps carry the committee’s scientific vision through to the experience attendees ultimately have.
What We Do
-
Our meeting managers work alongside program chairs and committees throughout development, creating the structure that keeps the program moving forward. They facilitate discussions as decisions are made and coordinate the work that follows, giving chairs and committee members a consistent point of contact throughout the planning process.
As topics and sessions take shape, those decisions also need to reach the faculty responsible for bringing the program to life. Your meeting manager coordinates speaker invitations and communications, tracks participation and presentation requirements, and ensures faculty are prepared for their role in the program. You choose the theme and the speakers; we help make it happen.
-
Submissions, committee review, presenter notification, and ultimately the program all need to remain aligned. Your dedicated meeting manager coordinates abstract submission and supplemental information collection for ease of review by committee. We then ensure selected presenters are notified and have the resources to present in your program.
-
For all events, we collect presentation materials for event space audio/visual requirements, as well as online and printed materials. Your meeting manager carries committee decisions forward through faculty communications and preparation. Virtual events need just as much support, and with an international team, we can moderate virtual events in any time zone.
-
Having our own IT department means we can connect the platforms involved so committee decisions and program, faculty, and attendee-facing information are aligned. Learn more about our IT services here.
